KYOCERA Document Solutions America Wins Big at 2016 BTA Channel’s Choice Awards

Run of industry accolades continues with 5 major awards, including prestigious Superior Performance Award – Primary Vendor.

Kansas City, Mo. – June 10, 2016 – KYOCERA Document Solutions America, one of the world’s leading document solutions companies, was the big winner of this year’s Business Technology Association (BTA) Channel’s Choice Awards, taking home a total of five awards including the evening’s highest honor, the Superior Performance – Primary Vendor.

The award presentations were part of BTA’s 90th anniversary gala held in Kansas City’s spectacular Union Station. Guests included executives from many of the industry’s best-known manufacturers, suppliers, and financial services organizations, as well as dealerships from across the country.

“We are extremely proud, honored, and humbled to be recognized by BTA and the entire dealer community,” said Mark O’Hara, Vice President of Business Planning at KYOCERA Document Solutions America. “Receiving this award at this milestone event is especially gratifying.”

Over the last several years, Kyocera has amassed many industry accolades for its technological innovations, continuously pushing the standards of the ever-changing document imaging sector. However, the BTA awards hold special meaning because they represent the trust and approval of the independent dealer community.

“Our goal is to be the industry’s most dealer-focused company,” said Yukio Ikeda, longtime executive and new President and CEO of KYOCERA Document Solutions America. “To be honored by the dealer community is validation of everything we stand for.”

Kyocera picked up four other Channel’s Choice awards, topping the nationwide balloting in Corporate Support, Distribution, Product Line, and Inventory Performance. Notable recipients in other categories were Muratec America, Inc., Clover Imaging Group, and GreatAmerica Financial Services.

“Since 1989, BTA has been recognizing vendors deemed most supportive of the dealer channel,” said BTA National President Dave Quint. “We congratulate Kyocera, Muratec, Clover, and GreatAmerica for distinguishing themselves among their competitors.”

KYOCERA Document Solutions America Keeps the Pedal to the Metal – Announces 31 New MFPs and Printers, 6 Business Applications

Company continues to strengthen position as industry’s leading innovator with advanced A3 and A4 MFPs, business-specific document solutions.

Orlando, NJ – May 17, 2016 – KYOCERA Document Solutions America, Inc., one of the world’s leading document solutions companies, today treated more than 1000 of its dealer participants to a preview of the numerous innovations ahead in fiscal year 2017. At its annual Business & Technology Conference, executives announced the release of an astounding 31 new and upgraded A3 and A4 MFPs and Printers, along with 6 new Business Applications.

“Innovation is at the heart of everything we do,” said Danielle Wolowitz, Vice President, Corporate Marketing Division for KYOCERA Document Solutions America. “These new product and application introductions have once again raised the bar.”

Kyocera is refreshing almost every segment of its TASKalfa and ECOSYS lines. Its A3 and A4 MFPs are offered with a wide range of finishing configurations; most are HyPAS-enabled, and able to be further customized with Kyocera’s nearly 60 Business Applications.

15 New A3 MFPs

Speeds range from 25ppm to 80ppm, in both color and black & white. The feature set is incredibly impressive including true 1200dpi at full engine speed, and standard WiFi, NFC with WiFi direct. Perhaps even more impressive is the ease of service capability. Service time for a preventative maintenance cycle has been reduced by almost 50%, to an average of 30 minutes. All major components across the entire series share a common design, simplifying dealer service training and inventory management.

16 New A4 MFPs and Printers

A4 remains one of the industry’s hottest market segments for hardware. Kyocera has continued to set the standard, delivering the capacity, media capabilities, scalability, and robust application platform previously only available in its A3 TASKalfa MFPs. These new, lower segment A4 models offer speeds from 27ppm to 42 ppm, and include standard WiFi, a 4.3-inch TSi, and dual-scan document feeders on select models.

6 New Business Applications

Apps continue to play a central role in Kyocera’s dramatic success over the past several years. Peter Hendrick, KYOCERA Document Solutions America’s Group Vice President, Corporate Marketing and Business Services Division, explains why: “Businesses are looking to simplify work processes. More and more, they’re asking for document workflow improvements, not just technology upgrades.”

Kyocera apps streamline countless document-related business processes, add security and cost-control features, and enable mobile and cloud-based printing. The new apps include several “connectors,” which allow Kyocera MFPs to integrate seamlessly with many of the most popular document and content management systems.

DMConnect Pro powered by Nuance

A powerful addition to the DMConnect portfolio, one of Kyocera’s most successful apps, offering new user-requested features such as Zone OCR and advanced barcode imaging. The app enables intelligent capture, processing, and routing of documents, maximizing efficiency across the enterprise.

Google Connector; Dropbox Connector; Square 9 Connector; OnBase Connector

These powerful connector apps provide bi-directional access between HyPAS-enabled Kyocera MFPs and these popular CMS, EDM, and DMS platforms.

Private Scan

A simple, extremely effective application for secure transmission of scanned documents – designed for enterprises with high security and confidentiality standards, or strict compliance protocols as it relates to scanning.

All A3 MFPs and A4 MFPs and printers will become available during KYOCERA Document Solutions America’s fiscal year 2017. For more information about all Kyocera products and services, visit usa.kyoceradocumentsolutions.com.
